Instead of going on our annual motorcycle roadtrip this year, we decided to get our families together in a beach house in Encinitas, California…a nice, classic beach town 25 miles (40km) north of San Diego nestled between the pristine beaches of Solana Beach and Carlsbad.

The beach towns of San Diego County…highly-recommended. You got to add visiting these beaches to your bucket list but, be warned. Me and my family visited in 2002 and never left. Life here is that good.
